Good news. I finally tracked down a self serve car wash where I can wash the bike. Since I live in Manhattan, there aren't a lot, if any, options for me to properly wash the bike. It's the Spotless Car Care Center located on River Street in Hackensack, a few miles down from exit 66 of 95/80.

I went there this morning to wash off all the road salt from the past week. With the temperature below 20°F, they're weren't many people washing their cars. I imagine, though, that this place is probably packed during warmer weather.

It was pretty treacherous. The bay floors were a sheet of ice. I don't recommend using the "pre-rinse". It had some sort of pink chemical that raised the freezing point of the water and would immediately freeze on the bike. The regular water was okay but I had to wipe it dry very quickly.
In addition to self-serve, they also have a lube center and a full-service car wash.
